Medical Writer

MEDICAL WRITER

altavia.cloudraker is looking for a Medical Writer to join our Montreal team. Someone who knows the health industry regulations (and how to bend them); someone who never backs down from a good challenge; someone with a get sh*t done attitude.

This role is about more than just copywriting. It involves caring about your clients and knowing their business needs inside and out, and always being ready to provide solutions to problems before they arise.

Your day-to-day:

- Partner with an Art Director and account servicing team to develop creative concepts that meet project objectives, comply with PAAB and/or ASC regulations, and exceed client expectations;
- Write and edit medical and scientific content; write briefs that help clarify and contextualise the ask
- Expertise in research, finding cite-worthy resources, and using medical and contextual research effectively and creatively in the work
- Know how to use VVPM and navigate the MLR review process to expedite content submissions for review
- Oversee medical copywriting of all medical freelancers to ensure consistent quality as per CloudRaker standards
- Ensure that tone and style of every piece of writing we produce is on-brand;
- Prepare concepts for internal and client presentations to clients and be ready to defend them when challenged;
- Think outside the box and challenge our clients to step out of their comfort zones to create memorable experiences for their audiences;
- Stay informed about new trends and the best work in the advertising and pharmaceutical fields;
- Participate in brand team meetings/strategic planning sessions and tactical sessions as required to ensure that brand strategic imperatives are aligned with tactical deliverables
- Help educate the rest of the team about the pharmaceutical industry and its regulations.

You have:

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role;
- Experience working on Pharmaceutical accounts;
- PAAB and ASC experience;
- Experience managing 360 campaigns; writing across print and digital formats
- UX-driven copywriting that designs for the channel and the end-user
- Excellent communication skills in English and French;
- A passion for staying informed about web, mobile, digital and traditional media trends;

Votre quotidien:

- Travailler en partenariat avec un directeur artistique et une équipe de gestion des comptes pour développer des concepts créatifs qui répondent aux objectifs du projet, se conforment aux règlements du PAAB et / ou de l'ASC et dépassent les attentes des clients;
- Rédiger et éditer du contenu médical et scientifique;
- Un expert dans le domaine de recherche, des citations et références dans le contexte médical et scientifique;
- Agile à naviguer et soumettre des documents sur le logiciel VVPM en conformité avec les régulations de l'MLR;
- Superviser la rédaction médicale de tous les pigistes médicaux pour assurer une qualité constante selon les normes CloudRaker;
- Valider que le ton et le style de chaque écriture que nous produisons est conforme aux marques;
