**ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY**
- Work with engineers to prepare, review, revise, and maintain documentation, including: user guides, training materials, integration guides, developer guides, how-to, tutorials, and knowledgebase content;
- Build and maintain client aids that go beyond traditional documentation, such as online video, demos, guided tours, and other educational techniques;
- Edit existing developer-written content in preparation for publication;
- Prepare and create instructor materials (course outlines, background material, instructional materials, and training aids) and classroom agenda;
- Conduct end user trainings and presentations on the IPMS product for client;
- Continuously enhance technical instructional delivery and presentation skills;
- Act as an editor to ensure consistency in training documentation across the IPMS product.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor or Bachelor of Science in Technical Communication or related discipline preferably in a technical field such as computer science or a focus on English writing or communications, or at least three years of experience in writing documentation for software or in technical training;
- Previous technical writing experience in a fast-paced engineering environment is an asset;
- Strong written and verbal communication and experience working with content in multiple mediums;
- Experience working with the following preferred tools : Word, Author-It, Acrobat;
- Bilingual French and English with good English writing skills;
- Regular use of a content management system (CMS) to manage the lifecycle of technical documentation including draft, review, and publish phases;
- Some experience in development and delivery of training/facilitated learning is beneficial but not required;
- Experience in a rapidly changing environment is also beneficial in this challenging position.
