Industrial Cleaning Attendant

**JOB SUMMARY**

As an Industrial Cleaning Attendant, you will be primarily responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our plants. You will also be called upon to assist the production or shipping team when necessary. This position requires rigor, autonomy and physical fitness. **DESCRIPTION OF TASKS**

**INDUSTRIAL CLEANING (DAILY)**
- Do the general cleaning of premises (floors, walls, ceilings, doors, etc.).
- Keep washrooms and common areas clean.
- Empty garbage cans and recycle materials according to established procedures.
- Report breakages or problems to supervisor.
- Ensure the use of appropriate products and equipment for safe and effective cleaning.
- Any other related duties established by his superior.

**PRODUCTION SUPPORT (OCCASIONAL)**
- Prepare parts, products, components, orders or other items as assigned.
- Participate in the assembly of metal products and monitor equipment during production to detect defects.
- Perform various labourer tasks as required.

**REQUIREMENTS, QUALITIES AND SKILLS REQUIRED**
- **Education**:Minimum secondary 3;
- **Experience**: Previous experience in industrial or commercial cleaning environments;
- Discretion, staying focused on tasks;
- Reliability, sense of responsibility, autonomy;
- Good physical condition;
- Minutia and attention to detail;
- Functional knowledge of French;
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle to travel between our plants in Laval (1.5 km).
