Cleaning Services Estimator

In light of the creation of our new general building maintenance subsidiary, our company is seeking a Cleaning Services Estimator who will be responsible for preparing cost estimates for cleaning services proposals. Under the authority of the General Manager, the estimator will also be tasked with providing competitive and detailed costs for bids.

**RESPONSABILITIES**:

- Develop and maintain estimation models, tools, and software;
- Analyze specific cleaning requirements for different types of buildings;
- Identify areas needing special treatments;
- Calculate costs for materials, equipment, and necessary labor;
- Provide accurate estimates for various cleaning services;
- Draft detailed proposals for clients, including costs, timelines, and services offered;
- Ensure compliance of bids with client requirements and industry standards;
- Assist the operations department in detailing work phases according to client schedules and team availability, minimizing disruptions;
- Maintain an up-to-date list of active bids;
- Help prepare studies, materials, and methods needed for different cleaning projects;
- Conduct conceptual estimates for budget purposes for potential clients;
- Work with clients to understand their specific needs and propose suitable solutions;
- Participate in site visits and travel, as needed;
- Etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract evaluation in housekeeping;
- Knowledge of cleaning practices and products;
- Excellent proficiency in advanced Excel and project management software;
- Ability to perform precise calculations and draft detailed proposals;
- Fluent in oral and written French and English (bilingual) as bids can come from across Canada;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines;
- Valid driver's license and availability for frequent travel as needed.
