Carmichael Engineering is seeking a BAS/Controls technician to support growth in our Moncton branch. The BAS Technician will provide field technical support/service as required for the service and maintenance of our customer sites.

**Demonstrated ability to**:

- Use technical knowledge and experience to conduct check-out, verification and calibration and preventative maintenance of Building Automation Systems and its BAS Field components
- Working knowledge with computer based BAS programming, Microsoft Program Suite. Such as Visio is a definite requirement. Autocad is a benefit.
- Work under pressure in a service minded industry being professional and courteous towards customers and fellow workers.
- Perform graphical interface and programming controller to accomplish minor HVAC routines. Block Programing and/or Line programing a Definite asset.
- Excellent communication and written skills.

**Job Requirements**:

- Mechanical, Electronics or Instrumentation Technician or Technologist Diploma.
- 3-5 years of BAS, building automation experience.
- Navigating any Tridium Niagara front end system network system and IT security systems an asset
- Must have an understanding of basic
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and an ability to read complex Mechanical/Electrical Plans, manuals and programming logic to repair a variety of service issues.
- Previous experience with Johnson Controls Systems, Distech Systems, and KMC a definite asset.
