Service Appointment Coordinator

**Summary of position**:

- First point of contact with customer in providing quality customer service
- Gathering accurate customer information as it pertains to the vehicle appointment/repair
- Perform documented customer interview specific to the complaints
- Create appointments and schedule repairs
- Coordinate daily appointments as to ensure sufficient work in the back shop while trying to maintain control over appointment times to create a smooth work flow
- Work with multiple departments to coordinate appointments and ensure parts availability
- Follow up with customers who miss scheduled appointments
- Assist in answering service phones, maintain a pleasant telephone manner and assist customers as required
- Provide the service manager with reports daily
- Send service reminders
- Strong customer service background preferably in the automotive industry
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Great communication skills and ability to communicate customer concerns in written format
- Some general parts knowledge is an asset
- Must have great computer skills

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
