**Who are we looking for**:
The Financial Analyst will report to our Director of Finance in our Finance department. In this role you will be responsible for owning important internal accounting processes, procedures and collaborate with all departments across Apollo to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting. **Here's what you will be doing**:

- Manage transactional accounting activities with our bookkeeper for our three separate entities;
- Perform month-end close; including completion of specific analyses & reconciliations;
- Assist the Director of Finance in preparation and maintenance of the financial model and monthly budget-to-actuals analysis;
- Oversee cash usage by managing functions like accounts payable and accounts receivable;
- Assist in performing gross margin and contribution margin analysis on all product SKUs to ensure profitability
- Ensure that the accounting policies and practices in place are scalable as the company continues to grow;
- Prepare monthly GST-QST remittances; ensure compliance with sales tax and financial reporting requirements.

**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting /Finance;
- 1-3 years of experience in public accounting or similar position;
- Familiarity with accounting and other financial software (Quickbooks, Dext, Plooto, etc.);
- CPA (an asset);
- Excellent verbal and communication skills;
- An ambitious individual not afraid to roll up their sleeves, be resourceful and get that first win
- Good knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets;
- Experience with e-commerce business models (an asset);
