**Job Description**:
We are looking for a passionate, career minded and resourceful person to join our team and offer best in class service to our portfolio of Broker partners.
Summary of Role & Responsibilities:
- Service a portfolio of Auto and Property Personal Lines business alongside the Designated Underwriter
- Underwrite at a level of moderate to complex risk for policy changes and renewals
- Educate Broker partners about Unica’s target market and strategy
- Identify opportunities to support Unica’s strategy
- Analyze and report identified trends to management
- Other duties as required
Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
- Detail oriented and an analytical thinker with excellent time management skills
- Self-motivated and naturally enthusiastic
- Strong communicator in all varieties (written, verbal and presentation skills)
- Excellent time management skills in order to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Balance the responsibility of assessing risk and decision-making in a timely manner
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Exceptional phone etiquette
Education and Experience:
- University or College degree is preferred
- CIP/FCIP/CRM or working towards one of these designations is required
