We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Personal Lines Underwriter to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their career in insurance underwriting. The Junior Underwriter will assist in evaluating, assessing, and managing personal lines insurance risks, including home, auto, and other personal insurance products.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Risk Assessment: Assist in evaluating and underwriting personal lines insurance policies based on risk exposure, company guidelines, and market conditions.
- Customer & Broker Support: Communicate with brokers, agents, and clients to gather necessary information, clarify policy details, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate underwriting files, document decisions, and prepare reports to track policy activity and claims history.
- Compliance: Ensure all underwriting decisions comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Training & Development: Participate in ongoing training and mentorship opportunities to expand knowledge of underwriting processes, risk management, and the insurance industry.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of personal lines insurance products (auto, home, etc.) is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and tools.
