the **Overview**:
**Duties**:

- Work with General Manager to ensure profitability of all venues and locations.
- Work with General Manager for budget, ordering and spending to ensure in line.
- Work with General Manager to build a training program and change departmental operations.
- Manage and supervise housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of all areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas
- Work with leadership on contract negotiations with individual vendors who clean various properties under our care.
- Inspections of properties, working with departments to ensure that the highest level of property care and cleanliness is achieved.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Inspecting rooms to a 4 plus star standard, which includes such items as:

- Inspecting all cleanliness details of rooms, including but not limited to kitchen areas, washrooms, lighting, beds (including underneath), etc.
- Ensuring all amenities are placed nicely within rooms.
- Collection of any lost and found items from Room Attendants.
- Reporting any maintenance required to the maintenance team and log.
- Make sure all housekeeping storages are stocked and organized.
- Ensure every kitchen in each room has the correct inventory for guests before arrival.
- Assist in transportation of housekeeping team to where they are required.
- Assist in ensuring housekeeping rooms are kept in an orderly fashion.
- Report on needs of inventory and supplies to the Housekeeping Manager.
- Assist the housekeeping team in any manner.
- Attend to in-house guest requests.
- Schedule staff according to business needs
- Condo and unit inspections
- Any other duties as assigned

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Must have a valid Driver’s license.
- Previous experience an asset but not mandatory.
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
- Must have good to strong computer experience (Windows, Office, Outlook, Excel)
- Ability to lift to 50lbs.
- Service-oriented.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**:

- Position requires flexibility in shifts and schedule and evening/**weekend work required.**
- Extensive physical activity and lifting daily to complete position requirements as above.
- Training will be provided.

** We have limited staff housing beds available, this could be an option if needed.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $53,000.00 per year
