Shop Foreman

Brodsky Construction is seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Shop Foreman to lead the maintenance and repairs of our earthmoving equipment fleet. This position is based out of our Saskatoon location. Wage will depend on experience.

**Duties**
- Diagnosing and repairing equipment
- Ensuring the scheduled maintenance of the fleet is completed
- Provide direction and training to apprentice mechanics
- Allocate work assignments to technicians and ensure that work is performed in accordance with our high quality standards
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company safety policies, and promoting a safe working environment
- Coordinate with onsite supervisors to facilitate the allocation of equipment among multiple construction sites
- Monitor and review the progress of repairs, ensuring that deadlines are met and any issues or delays are promptly addressed
- Contacting suppliers to order required parts, materials, shop supplies, etc..

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years experience working on heavy earthmoving equipment (dozers, scrapers, graders, excavators etc.) including diagnosis and repairs
- Minimum 1 year experience supervising heavy earthmoving equipment repairs
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must be skilled in the use of computers
- Experience using Caterpillar SIS and Caterpillar ET will be considered an asset
- Physically fit
- Valid driver’s license
- Willing to work 50+ hours per week
- Willing to work OT as required
- Possession of current safety tickets (first aid, TDG etc.) will be considered an asset. Please include copies of any other certificates with résumé

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
