We are currently seeking a gracious and welcoming individual to join our team as a Hostess/Host, playing a vital role in creating a memorable and enjoyable experience for our valued guests.

As a Hostess/Host at Alice Restaurant and Bar, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience by providing a warm and inviting welcome. Your attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and excellent organizational skills will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our patrons.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet guests as they arrive, providing a warm and genuine welcome.
- Manage the reservation system, including taking reservations, recording guest preferences, and managing seating arrangements.
- Communicate effectively with guests to provide accurate wait times and updates.
- Maintain the appearance of the host/hostess station and waiting area, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus in a courteous and professional manner.
- Assist in coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to ensure efficient seating and service.
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and any concerns with a positive attitude.
- Maintain a professional and composed demeanor during high-pressure situations.
- Uphold a strong knowledge of the menu and daily specials to provide accurate information to guests.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a hostess/host or in customer service is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional guest service.
- Proficiency in reservation management systems is a plus.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
