**About the Opportunity**

Working in our Woodstock location, the CAD Technician will work with Maglin’s engineering team to provide well-structured production drawings.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Design_
- Produce and maintain detailed drawings for Manufacturing, Quality Control, Assembly and Marketing.
- Produce Production BOMs to coincide with Drawings.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Production for the development of custom solutions
- Liaise with Production and Engineering Departments regarding the process of manufacture
- Collaborate with internal and external resources in the development of products
- CAD & Production BOM Distribution_
- To assist Engineering Manager in ensuring Production, Assembly, Marketing and Sales are equipped with current and accurate CAD files and Production BOMs.
- Quality Assurance_

Continual Quality Control
- To work alongside Production team to assist in identifying solutions for production related quality issues.

First off Check
- To complete a first off check for all New / Custom products and first time vendors.

SPECIFIC SKILLS
- Must be proficient in SolidWorks (preferably in a manufacturing setting)
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills within own department and to other departments.
- Knowledge of MRP / Engineering Masters is an asset

EDUCATION
- Graduate of Mechanical Engineering Technologist program or similar.
