**POSITION**:Facilities Technician Co-op Student (Competition #2025-14)**

**LOCATION**: Public Works Department, Oxford County Administration Building, Woodstock

**EMPLOYMENT STATUS**: Temporary Full-Time(April 2025 - September 2025)

**HOURS OF WORK**: Monday-Friday, 7:00a.m. - 4:00p.m. (40hrs/week)

**REPORTING TO**: Supervisor of Facilities

**UNION AFFILIATION**:Non-union

**WAGE RANGE**: 2025 co-op student rate: $22.58/hr

**WHAT WE OFFER**:

- Completing assessments of assets and creating/updating condition reports
- Developing and designing small projects using CAD base software
- Assisting in major project design and asset management
- Traveling throughout the County.
- Working indoors and outdoors as required.
- Assists with the overall management of County owned facilities and properties.

**QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS**:

- G2 or G driver’s licence and a clean driving record
- Enrolled in a post-secondary program in Facilities Management or related discipline.
- Understanding of building components and systems.
- Excellent organization skills.
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
- You are currently enrolled on a full-time basis at a post-secondary institution, and will be returning to a post-secondary institution on a full-time basis in the fall of 2025
- Your driving record from last year is still acceptable (if applicable)

Pay: $22.58 per hour
