**Job Description**:
As a Machinist, you are responsible to operate and maintain a variety of equipment, such as -but not limited to - conventional and CNC, lathe & mill, VBM, HBM, drill press, grinders and portable machining equipment. This is a permanent full-time position located in Fort McMurray, reporting directly to the Machine Shop Superintendant.

**What would you be doing?**
- You will interpreting blueprints and manufacturing to drawing and tolerance specifications.
- Line boring, flange facing, cold cutting.
- Program, set up, adjust, and run all the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools to perform precision machining operations.
- Layout, measure and mark materials to display placement of cuts.
- Ability to program and run CNC equipment.
- Shop and field working conditions.

- Line boring experience
- Can estimate and measure sizes and lengths accurately
- Proficient on both conventional lathe and mill
- Have your CSO certification or willing to obtain
- Machinist Journeyman/Apprentice certificate
