Due to growth within our company, **we are seeking an individual to join our hardware team in St. Clements **(just outside of Waterloo). Our hardware department is an integral part of the Artco family and facilitate a key step in the journey of bringing our clients’ dreams to life.

This is a full-time position with 44 hours a week. Wage commensurate with experience. Benefits are provided after the 3-month probationary period.

**WHO WE ARE**

Artco has nearly 40 years’ experience in **manufacturing case goods, upholstered furniture, and millwork** for the hospitality industry across North America. Artco specializes in high-end custom furniture for luxury hotels and is part of the Chervin Group of Companies which also provides high-end custom residential cabinetry, residential furniture, and home décor.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**
- Installation of final trim work including metal trim
- Installation of hardware including slides, drawers, handles, etc.
- Installation of mirrors
- Assemble tables
- Review workpieces with sales/management
- Prepare/wrap items for shipping
- Occasionally assist in the production hardware department based on workload of the custom area.
- Help maintain an organized and tidy workspace to ensure smooth processes and enable your team to produce the best quality products
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure production requirements are met safely and efficiently

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING**
- Previous experience with custom building
- Experience using a variety of hand tools for woodworking
- Knowledge of hardware used in a wood production setting
- Fluent in oral and written English
- A patient attitude and keen attention to detail with ability to recognize discrepancies
- A self-motivated desire to produce high quality work
- Ability to read blueprints (digital and paper copies)
- A passion for the core values that are foundation of our company
- A commitment to punctuality and dependability

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
