**Purpose of Position**

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the scheduling and management of social media posts across all platforms to maintain consistent engagement for the Thunder Bay 50/50.
- Assist with monitoring customer support inquiries in a timely manner.
- Assist with monitoring ad performance across all marketing channels.
- Provide support for Early Bird and Grand Prize draws in compliance with lottery regulations.
- Help manage 50/50 lottery administration functions, including prize procurement, contacting winners, investigating chargebacks, and ensuring proper licensing and financial reporting.
- Coordinate with staff and volunteers to support the smooth operation of the 50/50 store, including scheduling, supply management, and responding to customer support inquiries.
- Provide graphic design support as needed, assisting in the creation or updating of ads for various channels.
- Utilize skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint to assist with reporting, presentations, and other administrative tasks within the Engagement team.

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or other related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in utilizing digital media for fundraising purposes.
- Understanding of fundraising principles and donor stewardship practices.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro) and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience in HTML coding and website maintenance using content management systems.
- Experience in video production, including content development, filming, and editing is an asset but not required.
- Familiarity with Raiser's Edge or other CRM database software, including query creation.
- Familiarity with using social media as an advertising and engagement tool.
- Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to assist in crafting compelling visual and written narratives.
- Proactive with good project management skills, capable of assisting with multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships within cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to learn new skills and appear on camera when required.
- Knowledge of market research techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

**Other Information**:

- **Salary range**:$46,080- $54,118 (2024)
- **Work hours**: 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Some after-hours work required.
- Defined Benefit Pension Plan.
- Paid vacation.
- Workplace is a physical location inside Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
- This position will have a probationary period.
