Fully accredited by Accreditation Canada since 1974, our commitment to excellence and safety is unsurpassed. **Job Summary**:To perform and assist in all aspects of the personal care of the residents. **Qualifications**: - Certification as a Personal Care Worker, Continuing Care Assistant or Home Health Provider is required - Nursing experience in a long-term care facility - Good interpersonal skills - Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular and consistent basis - Good oral and written communication skills - Ability to work shift work - Alzheimer and Other Related Dementia Provincial Certificate required - Demonstrated ability to work with residents with Alzheimer Disease and other related Dementia - Must provide valid criminal record check and vulnerable record check. **Ocean View Continuing Care Centre Offers**: - Free Parking & on Bus Route - Comprehensive Benefits Package - Comprehensive Orientation - A supportive work environment - Casual staff will be paid 10% in lieu of vacation **Salary Range**:In accordance with the Collective Agreement between Ocean View and the Ocean View Local CUPE **Signing Bonus**: A $3,500.00 signing bonus is available based on the prorated FTE.
