Facility Description:

For over 50 years, Ocean View has been dedicated to our mission to
provide person-directed care with compassion and grace. We work to enhance the

residents.

and workplace culture.

We also take pride in our volunteer-run on-site café, offering lunch,
snacks, and coffee. Additionally, Ocean View is located in a vibrant community
with over 20 local shops and restaurants, creating a dynamic and engaging
environment for both staff and residents.

Job Summary: To perform and assist in all aspects of
the personal care of the residents.

Qualifications:

  • Certification
    as a Personal Care Worker, Continuing Care Assistant or Home Health
    Provider is required
  • Nursing
    experience in a long-term care facility
  • Good
    interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated
    ability to attend work on a regular and consistent basis
  • Good oral and
    written communication skills
  • Ability to
    work shift work
  • Alzheimer and
    Other Related Dementia Provincial Certificate required
  • Demonstrated
    ability to work with residents with Alzheimer Disease and other related
    Dementia
  • Must provide
    clear criminal record check and vulnerable sector check.

Salary Range: In accordance with the Collective
Agreement between Ocean View and the Ocean View Local CUPE

Rotation: Days/Evenings/Nights: All Shift Hours
