**Overview**

**Duties**
- Supervise and manage front-of-house staff, ensuring high standards of customer service and team performance.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Manage the Point of Sale (POS) systems, including cash handling and transaction accuracy.
- Conduct interviews and training for new staff members, fostering a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints effectively to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, bar, and service stations.
- Monitor inventory levels for food and supplies, placing orders as necessary.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry.
- Strong supervisory experience with a focus on team management and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Proficient in using POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient transaction processing.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse clientele effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling.
- Previous experience in hospitality settings such as hotels or cafes is preferred.
- Barista experience is a plus for establishments that serve coffee or specialty beverages.
