Victoria, Canada Home Again Seniors Transition Services Ltd. Full time

**Overview**:
We are a senior move management company that assists seniors when they are downsizing and moving to smaller spaces. We also do estate dispersals, run auctions, provide photo organizing/scanning services and design and organize small spaces. We are seeking a caring, conscientious individual who is capable of supporting our clients through what can be an emotional time. We have a strong team and are looking to add another team leader/project manager who is capable of working well with our team and with our clients. You must be kind and people oriented to be successful in this position. If this is not your strength, this is not the job for you.

The job does not have set hours. We primarily work Monday to Friday but on move days, the work can stretch into the dinner hour. Once fully trained, you can expect to work close to full time but the times, job duties, etc will vary. You are only paid when you are scheduled to work. However, this job allows you to have holiday time, time off at Christmas and generally allows a good work life balance.

**Attributes**:
You will be highly organized, self motivated, responsible, able to work in a team environment. People skills such as teamwork, diplomacy, professionalism, listening, understanding are critical. Project management skills of budgeting time, overseeing a team, taking full responsibility for your clients and their projects, managing a vast array of details, following our systems are also paramount.

**Responsibilities**
- Start to finish oversight of your own projects (estate dispersal and move management) with our clients.
- Manage a team, manage a budget, manage the paper processes that are in place
- Oversee third party services such as movers, junk haulers, carpet cleaners
- Have a good sense of organization and decorating a new space in the context of safety for our senior clients, mobility issues, dementia, etc.
- Hands on, on the job packing/unpacking, sorting for auctions, etc
- Ability to use technology in every day work. We use an auction app, an project management program, a payroll app that you will interact with on a daily basis.
- You will be involved in cleaning - nearly every job we do involves cleaning in some capacity - to prepare a house for sale, a move out clean when the project is complete. This is done as a team, not an individual. You must be willing to do this on your projects. Some homes are cleaner than others and everyone on the job pitches in with cleaning.
- You will also be working one on one with our clients to assist them to sort household items to prepare for a move
- You will need a drivers licence and a vehicle as our jobs are all over Greater Victoria and you will need to carry supplies for your own jobs

**Qualifications**:
Demonstration of previous work in people oriented positions

Organizational skills

Previous management experience

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
