**Key Responsibilities**:
**Travel**:

- Travel to customer locations to install, commission, and provide technical support for VFFS machines.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot machine malfunctions and implement effective solutions.
- Perform repairs, replacements, and adjustments as necessary.
- Troubleshooting electrical/mechanical issues that may arise on the equipment due to shipping/other factors
- Conduct training sessions for customers on the operation and maintenance of VFFS machines.
- Providing re-training on software or machinery and identifying problems that affect customer productivity
- Maintain accurate records of service visits, including service reports, parts used, and hours worked.
- Provide detailed technical reports on machine performance, issues, and resolutions.
- Document any modifications or upgrades made to machines
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and support.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and address any concerns.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations during service visits and machine assemblies..
- Must have a clean criminal record for international travel
- Must have a valid passport and be able to travel to USA and overseas without any restrictions
- Must have a valid driver’s license with no restrictions
- Must be able to travel up to 60% of the time

**Facility**:

- Conduct start ups and testing of Vertical Form Fill Seal (VFFS) machines
- Perform mechanical/electrical assemble of machines and equipment using hand and power tools
- Read and decipher schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions
- Run wires for motors, sensors, and other devices to the control panel
- Hook up pneumatic devices and run air lines through the machine
- Collaborate with the assembly team to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
- Inspect and examine machines and equipment being manufactured to detect and investigate irregularities
- Adjust machines and repair or replace defective parts
- Clean and maintain work area and equipment, including tools
- Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and tools needed for service and assembly tasks
- Ensure timely restocking of consumables and critical components
- Assisting in crating and shipping machinery
- Other duties as assigned by the leading Service Technician

**Job Requirements**:

- College diploma/ degree in the related fields (Electronics, Electro/Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Practical Experience)
- 5 + years of experience working with VFFS equipment/similar packaging equipment
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with PLCs, servo motors, and Control
- Strong mechanical / electrical aptitude with the ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a systematic approach to diagnostics and repairs.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, diagrams, and manuals.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
- Ability to drive a forklift

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
