Albert’s Generator Services Ltd. is looking to add a Generator Field Service Technician to our team.

We have been servicing generators in Southwestern Ontario since 1998 with a focus on the maintenance and repairs of diesel, natural gas, and propane powered commercial generators from various manufacturers. We are a family owned and operated company without the hierarchy of large corporations. As a member of our team your voice will be heard, and your actions will have a real impact on our plans and successes for the future.

As a Generator Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing preventative maintenance, service, diagnostics and repairs of emergency generators and their associated components at the customer’s facility. You will be the face of our company for our customers so maintaining a clean worksite, professional appearance and manners is imperative.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- An excellent problem solver/troubleshooter, resourceful and dedicated to following all jobs through to completion.
- Self-starter who thrives on working independently.
- Have a professional demeanor.
- Organized, responsible, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills (English)
- Have a valid G or higher driver’s license, maintain a clean driving record and be willing to provide a driver’s abstract.
- Hold an OSSD or equivalent and be able to enter an appropriate apprenticeship opportunity if requested/required.
- Be willing to travel across Southern Ontario, with the occasional overnight stay as required.
- Willingness to provide on-call services as part of the field service team rotation, overtime and weekend availability when required.
- Ability to get Security clearances when needed.
