Nikkei Ramen-ya is a 20-seat ramen restaurant founded in Courtenay, BC in 2016. We use premium and local ingredients to make scratch-made, all-natural, authentic ramen that is widely considered to be the best on Vancouver Island (and for some people, beyond).

We are looking for a full time Manager for our flagship 5th Street location. The Manager will be responsible for a team of 10+ part time and full time staff in addition to being a hands-on member of the team. They will part of a management team reporting directly to the Founder/CEO.

The Manager will have the following experience and attributes:

- Experience managing teams
- Customer service
- Kitchen experience
- Impeccable reliability and attendance record
- Problem solving
- Good temperament
- Technology literate
- A passion for good food

Duties will include overseeing:

- Food quality and precision.
- Customer happiness and feedback.
- Employee happiness, performance, and growth.
- Scheduling.
- Financial performance of the shop.
- Facility cleanliness and maintenance.
- Continuous improvement (Kaizen) in all areas

Foodsafe and Serving It Right certifications are required within 30 days of starting.

**Salary**: $38,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
