Mirage Pools is in search of **Swimming Pool Technician(s) ** to join our growing company.

We have a very experienced team that fosters a strong group atmosphere in a fast-paced work environment. We strive for exceptional customer service in Swimming Pool Service and Retail.

**Position Summary**:

- Assist with the Opening and starting of residential pools and spas through peak Opening season
- Work with a Senior Technician to assess, diagnose and repair problems with residential swimming pool systems and to install new equipment (pumps, filters, sanitization systems etc.) according to industry regulations, and installation of replacement liners
- Work on a variety of service projects throughout the summer months such as pool maintenance, equipment replacement & repair projects.
- Work with a swimming pool closing team in the fall months (September/October).
- Lots of earning potential. Monday to Friday (starting at 7:00 am to approx. 5-7pm) and some Saturdays (8am - 4pm). Many extra Hours during peak Opening season (April - May - June)
- Overtime paid after 50 hrs/week

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Work efficiently to complete a daily list of a variety of pool service tasks ranging from openings, closings, routine maintenance, complicated equipment overhauls and replacement vinyl liner projects.
- Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, standing for long periods of time
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions (wind, rain, heat etc.)
- Safe handling of pool chemicals, “Safety First” mentality at all times
- Wearing the provided PPE
- Attention to detail, leave each job site cleaner than you find it
- Maintain a professional image and attitude with all employees, management, executives and customers always

**Job Specific Competencies**:

- Any outdoor working experience is an asset
- Experience with basic hand tools or being generally handy is an asset
- CSA approved safety boots and weather appropriate clothing
- Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions
- Valid G2 or G-License, clean driver’s abstract

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 months

**Salary**: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Language**:

- Fluent English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence - G Classification with clean record (preferred)
