Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator (PC) will play a key role by coordinating their assigned projects and managing their client base. As a part of this role you will be responsible for sales including but not limited to Mouldings, Storm windows and various walk-in/call-in customers.
This position is an office position and has the responsibility for the set-up, scheduling, tracking, and completion of specified job/project(s).
The PC is the primary contact for the client and is responsible for securing project information, providing advice, updating and maintaining project status and conducting updates with client representatives.
The person in this role works in a team environment, is proactive, exhibits extreme work ethics, strong administrative skills and presents themselves as an ambassador for Vintage Woodworks. The PC successfully manages multiple projects at any given time. They are skilled communicators, diverse in their approach which allows them to communicate effectively to a wide range of people, including the client, trades people or client representative.
This position will also include some sales as required. The role is supported by our General Manager, Administration and Management team located in Victoria at our head office.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Client Relations
- Project coordination from inception to completion
- CAD drawings
- Set priorities and schedule timelines
- Ordering and managing material
- Prepare quotes, follow-up and sales for projects under $2000
- Production management of assigned accounts
- Project quality
- Invoicing and shipping project to meet deadline
- Tracking progress and reporting key deliverables
- Client development
- Manage front office workflow
- Organize internal staff events and communications
- Day to day office duties

- Presents self as an ambassador of our company
- Proven ability to build and maintain relations
- Ability to converse, professionally with a diverse group of individuals
- Acts as a liaison between the Vintage Woodworks and client
- Builds and maintains professional relationships with our clients, team and all stakeholders
- Follows through on their word, under promises and over delivers
**Education, Skills and Experience**:
- Experience as a Project Coordinator or Admin or education which supports this role
- Experience in construction or trades is desired
- Ability to do CAD drawings
- Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills and Microsoft Project
- Exceptional verbal and written communication
- Proven interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain long term relations
- Team Player
- Strong time management and organizations skills
- Ability to make sound decisions, remain calm under pressure and use independent judgment
