**Automotive Parts Director**
Manages the efficient and profitable operation of the Dilawri Auto Group Parts departments.
**Essential Duties**
- Forecasts goals and objectives for the departments and strives to meet them.
- Hires, trains, motivates and monitors the performance of the Parts department managers.
- Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the Parts departments.
- Maintains reporting systems required by general management and the factory.
- Monitors the performance of the Parts departments.
- Strives for harmony and teamwork within the departments and with all other departments.
- Understands and ensures compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures.
- Holds weekly department meetings.
- Fosters professional employee development and coordinates with department managers to determine need for advanced training.
- Makes customer satisfaction a department priority, ensuring that Parts personnel are courteous and respectful in their interaction with customers.
- Handles customer complaints immediately and according to dealership's guidelines.
- Develops dealership Parts pricing plans and recommends to dealer or general manager.
- Works with Parts managers to find ways to improve the overall profitability of the dealership.
- Serves as liaison with factory representatives.
- Maintains safe work environment.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
**Automotive Parts Director Education and/or Experience**
- 5 years of Parts management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Sound knowledge of automotive parts
- Proficient computer skills, Reynolds and Reynolds experience an asset
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong health & safety ethic and work practices
- Ability to comprehend, think effectively and react appropriately under pressure.
- Ability to manage parts staff; work well with other Department, co-workers
- Strong leadership ability and inventory management skills
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $95,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
