Overview:
The Tower/Internal Service Advisor plays a critical role in coordinating service operations between technicians, the parts department, and management. This position ensures repair orders are processed efficiently, technician schedules are optimized, and parts are available to support timely vehicle servicing.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Service Coordination**:

- Act as the central point of contact between service, parts, and management teams.
- Prioritize and assign jobs based on technician skill sets and workload.
- **Repair Order Management**:

- Open, manage, and close repair orders with accurate documentation.
- Review job cards and ensure all service details are recorded properly.
- **Scheduling & Workflow Optimization**:

- Assist in scheduling technician shifts and service appointments.
- Monitor job progress and adjust schedules to minimize downtime.
- **Parts Management**:

- Coordinate with the parts department to ensure timely availability of components.
- Track parts usage and maintain inventory levels.
- **Internal Communication**:

- Provide regular updates to technicians and management on job status.
- Communicate service timelines to sales and finance departments.
- **Quality Control**:

- Monitor repair quality and conduct post-service checks.
- Ensure all work meets GM standards before final sign-off.

**Qualifications**
- Bilingualism is an asset.
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in automotive or business is an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a dealership or automotive service role.
- Strong understanding of vehicle mechanical operations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- ASE certification preferred but not required.
- Experience with dealership management systems (DMS) is a plus.
- Experience with ADP or Reynolds system is an asset but is NOT essential, as training is available
- A valid driver’s license

Hours:
Mon to Fri

3 shifts of 7-4

1 shift of 8-5

1 shift of 9-6

Pay: $50,000.00-$98,000.00 per year
