Established specialty food import and distribution company specializing in Mediterranean food conducting business in Canada for 40 years is looking for a salesperson / manager. **Duties and Responsibilities**include the following: - Follow/develop marketing plan for sales execution - Both inside and outside sales. Mostly local travel, possible extended travel (all expenses financed) - Stay in close contact with accounts, providing excellent customer service and executing sales in a professional manner. - Creation of basic marketing materials. - Work closely with the superiors to develop the following: Sales goals and target customers, Effective trade promotions that maximize sales, Communicate on a regular basis **Typical Accounts / Market Overview** - Supermarkets (dairy and deli departments) - Local shops and stores - Restaurants (Greek/Mediterranean) **Recommended Skills** - Demonstrated project management & leadership skills - Must be comfortable with spending whole days out in the market visiting accounts, acquiring new accounts, and marketing our brands and products - Proficient in using computer software to create marketing materials, stay in contact with customers, and showcase products. - Superior analytical, oral and written communication skills - Positive "can do" attitude a must - High level of personal, work and professional ethnics Please send in resumes, cover letters and a short message inquiring on this opportunity.
