**Description**

Our Edmonton, Alberta based client is seeking up to two (2) Test Analysts to establish testing approaches to effectively measure test results and provide confirmation; ensure test cases reflect the scope of business requirements and development being delivered. Application tested includes SAP and API’s.

Remote.

Work must be completed within Canada and must be Canadian resident to apply.

**Experience Required/Mandatory Skills**
- Minimum combined 5 years of relevant education and experience in a role similar to this. Experience must be applicable to this role. Acceptable education includes degrees, diplomas and certificates.
- Demonstrated experience writing test cases from use cases, non-functional requirements and design documents. (3+ years)
- Demonstrated experience preparing test data, executing tests and verifying results and logging issues. (3+ years)
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of Software QA, Testing and Defect Life Cycle (3+ years)
- Demonstrated experience in testing REST APIs via Postman or similar tools. (3+ years)
- Demonstrated experience in JIRA and Azure DevOps. (3+ years)
- Experience with user acceptance testing including creation of user acceptance plan, status reporting, and managing assigned tasks. (3+ years)
- Experience assisting in reviewing, evaluating and providing test input during business requirements gathering and detailed design specifications (3+ years)

**Nice To Have Skills**
- Experience with smoke testing, unit testing, system testing, integration testing, regression testing and user acceptance testing. (4+ years)
- Experience with testing integrated environments. (3+ years)
- Experience developing API test scripts in Postman (3+ years)
- Experience with data integrity standards. (3+ years)
- Experience with SQL scripting and MS SQL Server. (3+ years)
- Experience with Agile methodology. (2+ years)

**Location**
- Edmonton/Remote

**Work Environment**
- 1 year with 1 possible 6-month extension

**Hourly Rate**
- Negotiable
