The systems administrator will be a contributor in day-to-day operations and improvement initiatives, providing in-depth technology expertise in support of Husky’s transformation and business strategy. - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/Areas of Accountability: Responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and reliable operation of computer systems. Participate in the design of those systems where possible. - Troubleshoot system errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues. - Implement monitoring and performance tuning for business-critical systems. Analyze and sustain capacity and performance requirements. - Develop expertise on business-critical systems (e.g. ERP, CRM, PLM, etc.). - Help upgrade systems with new releases and models. - Perform DBA tasks where needed. - Create and maintain documentation of new and existing systems. - Interface with multiple internal stakeholders including Architecture, Security, Development, Test, and Support teams. - Provide administration of the systems environment. - Act as Tier 3 technical support for relevant escalations from the service desk team. - Provide on-call support required for critical issues." CRITICAL CAPABILITIES Advanced knowledge of Windows Server (Linux considered a strong asset). - Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, DFSR, Group Policy. - Experience with Microsoft Azure IaaS/PaaS and Office 365. - Experience with Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop. - Working knowledge of virtualization, MS Hyper-V or equivalent. - Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server administration, including installation & upgrade, backup & recovery, monitoring & optimizing, and security. - Experience with enterprise clustered & load balanced environments. - Experience working with Microsoft DW/BI design and modeling tools. - Experience with enterprise business systems (ERP, CRM, etc.) considered a strong asset. - Basic knowledge of hardware and networking, including LAN/vLAN/WAN technologies. - Experience with scripting and automation tools. - ITIL experience considered an asset. - Good analytical and problem-solving skills. - Able to prioritize and plan workloads in order to meet deadlines. - Ability to share knowledge with other team members and members of our tier 2 and service desk support teams. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Team player - comfortable interfacing with cross-functional groups with mínimal supervision. - Flexibility to deal with out of hours issues when needed." **REQUIREMENTS**: EDUCATION Computer Science Degree, or similar The following certifications considered an asset: IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Microsoft administration, Linux administration Azure Solutions Architect Citrix Certified Professional EXPERIENCE5+ years of experience wit
