American Construction & Excavating Ltd is an excavating company located in Stouffville Ontario specializing in footing excavation and grading for ICI projects. We are presently seeking to hire an experienced estimator.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- review tender documents, plans and project specifications to accurately understand the scope of work to be priced
- prepare estimates / proposals and submit finalized price
- communicate with the general contractor / consultants to clarify any discrepancies related to the scope of work
- attend site visits when they are required
- establish and maintain good working relationships with the construction personnel of General Contractors and other subcontractors

**Qualifications / Skills**
- a minimum of 5 years experience in estimating
- skilled in quantity takeoffs and construction cost estimating
- knowledge in different contract packages ( lump sum, unit pricing )
- has the ability to work independently and within a team environment

Pay: $80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
