Imperial Seed Ltd. is an accredited seed processing facility focused on the multiplication and processing of forage and turf seed. We are looking for:
A full time, permanent Seed Mill Operator. Someone who is mechanically inclined and preferably with some sort of agriculture background (not required). Starting wage is dependent on experience. We offer 6% vacation pay (equaling 3 weeks for a full time employee) as well as the accrual of up to 6 sick days per year. 100% Employer paid benefits after 6 months (excluding long term disability). After 1 year employees are eligible to participate in our RRSP program.

**No bus access. Must have own reliable transportation.**

**Responsibilities;**
- Follow raw seed through the cleaning process:

- Prep the cleaning lines
- Monitor equipment function and sample product for quality
- Adjust equipment as directed.
- Ensure proper labeling of product
- Transfer seed to different bins
- Keep workspace clean and tidy, following protocols
- Assist in other tasks where needed

**Requirements;**
- Previous experience in the Seed industry is asset.
- Able to maintain a positive working attitude and work as a team.
- Good communication and comprehension skills.
- Must be detail oriented and have good organization skills.
- Must be physically able to lift up to 55lbs/25 Kg with ease.
- Forklift Experience is an asset.
- Vehicle/Own transport is required due to our location not being on a bus route.

**Working Environment;**
- Mill setting, must be able to cope with dust arising through processing.
- Mill is not climate controlled, temperature varies with weather.
- Coveralls (provided) and steel toe boots (employee provides) are required.
- Orientation and familiarization with equipment and processes will be provided

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
