**Entry Level Seed Technician**

Shift Hours: 6 am - 2:30 pm

Seed production technicians manage the planning, strategy, and production of seeds for a company. They assist growers with planting, scouting seed fields, and operating seed-related equipment.
- Participate in receiving, sorting, cleaning, and scanning seed samples
- Packing of seed samples for quality analysis
- Organization of seed inventory and supplies
- Following company safety rules and standard operating procedures
- Other tasks as assigned

**Skills Required**:

- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Possess a strong ability to work accurately and pay attention to detail
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to concentrate for sustained periods of time
- Ability to learn quickly and work on own initiative
- Flexible attitude and ability to learn new procedures
- Detail oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize daily tasks
- Excellent computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel)
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.

**Education/Training/Certifications**
- High School Diploma or Post-Secondary Degree

**Additional Requirements**
- Must be able to pass drug screen & criminal background check

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 months

**Salary**: $17.00 per hour

- Seed Technician: 1 year (preferred)
- Inventory control: 1 year (preferred)
- Receiving, Sorting, Packing and Scanning: 1 year (preferred)
- Computer skills: 1 year (preferred)
- Microsoft Word: 1 year (preferred)
- Microsoft Excel: 1 year (preferred)
