IMPERIAL SEED is a growing, Manitoba based, Forage and Turf seed multiplication company. We are currently inviting resumes for a Full Time, Permanent Shipper Receiver. Physical fitness, positive attitude, teachable, punctual, detail and safety oriented are some of the traits we are looking for. Previous Forklift and Shipper Receiver experience is required.

Experience in an agriculture environment particularly a seed environment is a strong asset. Particularly in stacking and loading bags of seed.

There is **no bus access** to our location. Must have own reliable transportation.

**Responsibilities;**
- Receive Incoming Product:

- Unload trailers and containers at warehouse dock.
- Verify Product, lot numbers and counts on Bills of Lading
- Sample Product for quality verification.
- Store Product within warehouse.
- Ship Product:

- Load trailers and containers securing them and ensuring stability for transport.
- Ensure correct product is loaded on correct truck, verifying and signing off on load sheets.
- Physical Inventory Management:

- Organize physical product to maximize warehouse space and keep track of product.
- Stack Product on pallets with forklift, ensuring stability.
- Participate in year end inventory and do periodic inventory counts as required.
- Assist with product bagging when shipping is slow.

**Requirements;**
- Must maintain a positive working attitude and be able to work as a team.
- Be methodical in double checking product tags, lot numbers and general documentation.
- Excellent Communication skills in a time sensitive environment.
- Punctuality is highly valued at Imperial.
- Must be physically able to lift up to 55lbs with ease.
- Must have prior experience driving a forklift.

**Working Environment;**
- Coveralls (provided) and steel toe boots (employee provides) are required.
- Warehouse is not climate controlled. Temperature varies with weather and employee is responsible for dressing appropriately for the weather.
