**Facilities Attendant**

The Facilities Department of the Oak Bay Beach Hotel takes care of the property from the seashore to the sidewalk. The position involves, but is not limited to, the following duties:
**Responsibilities**:

- General maintenance of the Oak Bay Beach Hotel
- Maintaining the spa pools
- Assisting guests with in-room maintenance issues or questions
- Cleanliness of the property
- Small projects and repair work
- Completion of other maintenance projects as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Prior experience with hand and power tools required
- Comfortable with power equipment such as pressure washers
- Prior experience with painting and drywall repair is an asset
- Pool management course or ability to complete this qualification
- Ability to work under mínimal supervision
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Days and weekend shifts

**Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to)**:

- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 60 lbs
- Kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
- Ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps

**Salary**: $25.29 per hour
