Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed to maintain safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food preparation and handling.
- Participate in training sessions for new kitchen staff as needed. Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- A passion for cooking and a desire to help create exceptional dining experiences for guests.
