Currently Capital Gear Ltd is seeking hard-working, mechanically inclined individuals to fill our new PTO and Hydraulic Department. We are hiring for the role of **Heavy Duty PTO & Hydraulic Technician**.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ability install PTO, Pump controls and Hydraulic Valving
- Install Wet Kit systems on trucks
- Understand Hydraulic operations
- Trouble shoot Hydraulic systems, Transmission Mounted PTOs, Electrical and Hydraulic control valves
- Understanding of reading schematics
- Rebuild PTO or Ratio change PTOs
- Rebuild Hydraulic Pumps.
- Open to working on Drive train Components within Heavy Duty Truck (Transmission, Differential or Driveline)
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Performs a variety of duties such as pull/assemble internal orders for reman shop, check for accuracy and completeness, inventory stock checks.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Identification and putting away of parts.

**Education and Knowledge**:

- Licensed Heavy Duty Technician. Must have working Knowledge in Heavy Duty Trucks. 4th year HD tech considered.
- Requires high school diploma or GED
- Class 3 license considered asset (Not required)

**Experience**:

- **MUST** have Experience in Heavy Duty Trucks with PTOs and Pump assemblies

- Good Knowledge base of computers and common software such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to work late when required.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate may be required to sometimes sit, climb or balance. The associate must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly.

Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm (must be willing to work some overtime when required), Hourly Rate based on experience and knowledge.

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
