Public Relations Specialist

Polysleep's reputation is based on the high quality of its products, manufactured here with Canadian expertise. Our company has grown and innovated in the field of high-end mattresses and sleep products, and we offer the best to our customers. Having started exclusively online, we are now expanding our distribution to include some of the most reputable stores in several industries.
We are looking for a PR Specialist to develop our relationship and marketing initiatives with our media partners, podcasts, events and influencers to support the growth of our awareness and sales across Canada.
**Responsibilities**:
**Relational (20%)**:
- Be the primary point of contact and foster strong relationships with our media, podcast, event and influencer partners;
- Establish communication on a bi-weekly, monthly or quarterly basis with our media, event and influencer partners.
**Public relations (70%)**:
- Manage & optimize the company's PR strategy;
- Media publications - organic and paid;
- Traditional strategy (radio & TV);
- Partnership strategy with external podcasts;
- Press releases & distribution of press releases;
- Partnership with organizations, companies or other partners;
- Conference planning in North America;
- Drive & manage the influencer marketing strategy;
- Sourcing new influencers;
- Contract creation;
- Relationship management;
- Quality control;
- Create and maintain processes and tools, including press kits and other external press and media resources.
**Management (10%)**:
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to create effective communication & PR campaigns;
- Measure the performance of tactics and present results and optimizations;
- Participate in weekly marketing meetings;
- Be on the lookout for trends to make the brand shine;
- Monitor and audit the competition.
**You have the profile if**:
- You have infectious energy, learn quickly and are bursting with creativity;
- You have experience in press relations and communications;
- You have the ability to write like Molières and the eloquence of LOUD;
- You are a structured person who has a good work methodology;
- You are a person of action, versatile and able to manage several priorities at once;
- You are comfortable working at a fast pace, within normal office hours (We believe it is better to perform during the day but go to bed with a clear head).
**We offer you**:
- Hybrid mode: face to face on Tuesdays & Thursdays at our offices;

- Salary range: $60,000 to $70,000 plus performance bonuses;

- 3 weeks of vacation;
- Modern offices located near the Savane metro station in Montreal;

**You have the following qualifications**:
- University degree in marketing, PR, communications or related field;
- Minimum of 3 years experience in PR;
- Minimum of 2 years experience in marketing communications;
- Knowledge of Shopify (an asset);
- Knowledge of Meltwater or other PR & communication tools;
- Bilingualism in written and spoken English and French - we sell across Canada
