THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Reporting to the Public Relations and Communications Manager, the Public Relations and Communications Specialist has the role of designing and implementing press relations strategies to promote the brand and products of the la Vie en Rose banner. This person will have to ensure the achievement of the established objectives to increase the visibility and notoriety of the banner in Canada.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with traditional Canadian fashion and lifestyle media to maximize media coverage and generate positive exposure for the brand.
- In partnership with their manager, contribute to strategic season planning, ensure their proper implementation and establish relevant key performance indicators.
- Design and implement innovative communications strategies and initiatives, including special events and strategic partnerships, to increase brand awareness.
- Develop and coordinate the creation of appropriate public relations tools for the various launches and campaigns and ensure their sending.
- Coordinate flat shots of products for the needs of the department.
- Be responsible for creating, planning, organizing and carrying out public relations events.
- Coordinate work with the public relations assistant.
- Monitor and analyze trends in the fashion industry, as well as the performance of communication campaigns, to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Maintain fluid communication with members of the marketing department and ensure the sharing of information.
- At the request of their superior, carry out any other task related to their skills.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, marketing or equivalent.
- 5 years of relevant experience in the retail or consumer industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English (the person will have to speak to various media across Canada).
- Autonomous, proactive and oriented towards solutions and results.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage a budget and make the most profitable use of it for the company.
- Strong creativity and passion for media relations.
- Ability to communicate and exchange ideas easily.
