**Deskside Support Technician***

**Responsibilities**:
- Respond to ITSM assigned tickets in a timely and effective manner.
- Troubleshoot user issues in M365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Triage and escalate tickets, as required.
- Perform imaging for company-provided end user devices.
- Setup and optimize hardware, including but not limited to: laptops, monitors, printers, cell phones, and any associated peripherals.
- Modify setups according to customer requirements.
- Assist with new IT improvement projects, as needed.
- Collaborate with end users to configure requests.
- Participate in a rotational on-call schedule, specific to the customer's outages
**Requirements**:
- 2+ years of experience in a technical support-based, client facing IT role.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Highly skilled with M365 (Teams, OneDrive, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with IT Service Management tools, including MSM Marval, is nice to have.
- Highly focused and enthusiastic about using new and existing technologies to solve challenges.
- High attention to detail with demonstrated ability to understand the big picture.
- Proactive, efficient, and customer-focused, as well as being able to operate under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Posess a reliable vehicle to ensure transportation to and from client site, as well as for after hours/on-call support visits. Parking will be provided at no cost.
- Posess a valid Canadian Class 5 Drivers License and have the ability to obtain a clear driver's abstract upon offer of employment.
- Meet all requirements to qualify for and obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC), with assistance from client.
- Ability to physically lift up to 50 pounds, as the transport of IT equipment by lifting and pushing/pulling is a requirement of this role.
