We are currently seeking a Field Services Support & Logistics Specialist to join our Ottawa based team This role is crucial in supporting MMIST’s testing and development initiatives, working closely with government test ranges, aircraft suppliers, and ensuring successful test setups and execution of research and development campaigns.

**What will you be doing?**
- Assist in the setup and execution of company product testing and development campaigns.
- Manage logistics and planning for research and development campaigns, including arranging vehicles, conference rooms, travel and accommodations.
- Issue RFQ's and secure necessary equipment and services, such as aircraft hangar rental, forklift rentals, aircraft leasing, and traffic.
- Facilitate collaboration and coordination with internal teams, government ranges, permits, and key resource suppliers.
- Issue travel letters to team members for customs.
- Provide on-site support for testing activities, addressing troubleshooting, and resolving logistics issues.
- Lead short-term field campaigns (1-3 days), ensuring all needs are met efficiently.
- Test Campaigns Setup/Planning.
- Work with internal stakeholders (Project Managers, Production Manager, Product Managers) to ensure all testing equipment is properly prepared and accounted for as per the published test plans, meeting specific test and safety standards.
- Safety Coordination and Personnel Briefings.
- Collaborate with the safety team to adhere to safety guidelines and processes.
- Assist in creating and implementing safety plans and personnel briefings for field activities.
- Documentation and Reporting, maintaining comprehensive records of testing activities, challenges faced, solutions implemented and after action reports.
- Track and manage KPIs, prepare detailed reports on testing progress and logistics for stakeholders.
- Process Improvement, identify and implement enhancements in testing and support processes and help refine field services procedures and best practices.

**What do we need from you?**
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience in military or commercial sectors.
- Experience in the aerospace industry. Familiarity with government test ranges and aircraft suppliers preferred.
- Experience in military or commercial aviation testing environments is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving capabilities, and high organizational skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel to various test sites internationally up to six times a year.
