- Demonstrate leadership: manage, motivate and maximize employee performance in the sorting area.
- Be organized: plan the work flow and ensure that employees understand and perform their tasks well. Ensure the onboarding of new sorters in the station.
- Be productive: set performance goals and deadlines in line with organizational plans.
- Supervise all activities related to sorting packages and monitor the progress of packages per hour according to established objectives
- Be diligent: ensure the cleanliness of the work area and the use of safe work methods and behaviors within his team.
What do you need to be successful?
- Resourceful and autonomous
- Curious about the Operations industry
- Strong leadership skills
- Being comfortable to work in a warehouse environment, long standing hours and lifting heavy packages.
- Be able to work in an environment where deadlines are very tight and adapt very quickly to the needs of the business.
- Computer literate & knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
- Have warehouse experience, supervising and managing employees.
- Working overnights
This position is part time - 28 hours a week & requires overnight shifts. Days are to be confirmed.
