**The Opportunity**
- Assist with accurate and prompt completion of all accounting records and financial reports, including month-end close, general ledger reconciliations, internal monthly financial statements, and group consolidation
- Assist with and submit various external statutory reporting for the group of companies
- Play a key role in the preparation and completion of year-end procedures and financial statements
- Assist with financial statement forecasting for the group of companies
- Assist with banking and treasury functions
- Gain an in-depth knowledge of the accounting systems to support transactional and process improvement
- Update and maintain relevant financial processes and control documentation
- Provide financial analysis and reports to management for decision-making support
- Has a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
- Has a CPA designation or equivalent (preferred, but not required)
- Has 3-5 years experience in an accounting and financial reporting role
- Demonstrates strong financial and non-financial analysis skills
- Is a strong communicator including the ability to articulate problems and potential solutions in a concise and understandable manner
- Has strong organization and time management skills and an ability to work within many deadlines
- Has a strong understanding of information systems, financial process development, and internal controls
- Has strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Is a creative, out-of-the box thinker
