Resident Manager

We're looking for a Resident Manager. We have a pet friendly, non-smoking, adults-oriented apartment building (20 suites), in central Edmonton, west of downtown.
This role includes cleaning common areas, leasing suites, and being the point of contact for our tenants (but not monthly rent collection), and arranging for / letting in contractors as necessary. We can provide a detailed job description on request.
Extra work beyond the base salary and responsibilities, such as cleaning suites after tenants move out (if they don't do it themselves), lawncare, or snow shoveling, is compesated separately, starting at $25/hour.
This is a part-time job. It is compatible with jobs that have irregular hours (not 9-5 weekdays), or for people in post-secondary studies. It's good for couples and anyone seeking part time work.
In exchange, we offer a renovated two bedroom apartment (newly repainted and new flooring), plus additional payment. It is approximately 800 square feet in size. The suite comes with one parking stall. Heat, water and telephone are included. In the building, we have coin operated laundry facilities, a security camera system, and a back yard.
Experience is preferred but not required. If you haven't done building management work before, let us know whatever related experience you may have. Customer service experience is an advantage.
