The Pizza Maker will be expected to complete the following job duties:
**Responsibilities**
- Prepare pizzas, sandwiches, appetizers, and desserts to the highest quality standard
- Prepare foods including sauces, meats, chopping vegetables, and desserts for weekly service
- Undertake prep cooking duties to the highest quality.
- Bring new ideas to prepare dishes
- Measuring and preparing the ingredients and seasonings to be used in the cooking of dishes
- Managing breakfast/brunch service
- Managing all food order slips and ensuring that customers’ orders are completed in a timely manner.
- Keep track of inventory and update the inventory management system as required
- Labeling and stocking all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible

- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash etc.
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as **a cook; experience in a middle eastern restaurant is an asset**:

- Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen
- Able to self-manage when needed
- Manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils
- A team player with good communication skills
- Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure
- Very good physical condition and endurance
- High school diploma or equivalent is desirable; Training from a culinary school will be an asset

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 8-15 per week

**Salary**: $17.00-$21.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift

**Experience**:

- pizza making: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
