Health and Supplement Ecommerce Lead / Coordinator
Job Summary:
The E-Commerce Lead / Coordinator needs to be a high energy, number-loving, meticulous, results-oriented, self-motivated individual. The lead will work with the Management team, sales, finance and operations to establish and implement an eCommerce strategy and growth plan, including a perspective on Merchandising, Marketing, Supply Chain/Logistics and Operations. The leader will foster strong relationships with cross functional leaders in marketing, sales & operations. They will also collaborate with retail partners ecommerce business to reimagine, establish and embed consumer centric operations into ongoing business and its evolution. Using strong analytical, communication, and business oversight skills to solve problems on a national scale and deliver proactive, insightful analysis, they will identify and implement creative, transformative approaches to business that exceed consumer expectations.
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for Purchasing. Place orders with different suppliers using multiple formats.
- Manage Inventory. Maintain inventory database using POS system.
- Supervise Customer Service Representatives.
Answer technical questions as well as assist in day to day issues.
- Maintain relationships with supplier representatives.
- Promotion Planning. Create a schedule for upcoming sales, promotions, and e-blasts.
- Market Analysis. Keep track of and provide insight on both product sales and competitors.
- Process warranties and refunds. Process warranty claims with suppliers as well as refunds with different payment gateways.
- Develop, execute, and own the ecommerce strategy and ensure that the online growth strategy aligns with the organizations overall business strategy and corporate priorities while delivering profitable growth
- Oversee detailed forecasts, assortment, pricing and promo plans to achieve sales and margin targets
- Initiate strategic enhancements/upgrades with business systems and workflow that will improve process and efficiency
- Manage milestones, deadlines, and scheduling for multiple simultaneous projects, keeping the team up to date with progress and decisions
- Ensure effective communication of all ecommerce initiatives, resulting in consistent understanding of the reasons for, direction of, and expected results of each project.
- Act as a focal point for progress reporting on key initiatives, including timely updates/presentations to the LT
- Oversee an team which includes eCommerce experts, sale, finance and operations.
- Directly lead and develop two reports on the ecommerce team
**Qualification**:
- **Knowledge in Health and Supplement products**:
- Highly organized, data driven, understands commercial operations, able to deal well with peaks and manage multiple relationships locally and globally
- Understanding of local retailer/retailer.ca landscape; small appliance experience a plus
- Comfortable leading a network of agencies, internal & external stakeholders.
- Reverse logistics experience a plus
