**About the position**

Full time Utility - this is an entry level position in a large flour milling plant in Port Colborne, Ontario

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- The successful applicant must be able to work from heights, stand, sit, kneel, crawl, and bend
- May be required to lift 55 lbs. / 22 kg
- Also needs to be able to work in a variety of hot, cold, or wet conditions
- Shift work, overtime, and weekends will be required
- The expectation being that the successful applicant will be competent when working with machinery, including the ability to safely troubleshoot operational issues
- All other duties required

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- This position also includes general sanitation duties following established GMP’s for our food safety programs
- Adhering to Safety Rules, GMP, HACCP, and Food Safety protocols is crucial
- Duties include but are not limited to material handling and light maintenance
- Basic computer skills, numeracy and record accuracy are also necessary to succeed at this role
- There is room for further advancement in this role

**Education or Work Experience**
- High school education or equivalent is preferred

**Health and Safety**
- Work in accordance with local/provincial legislation
- Understands and is accountable for full compliance with safety and other EHS requirements
