**About You**
- You are a critical thinker with strong attention to detail, committed to delivering results that matter

- You have strong interpersonal skills and an ability to partner and develop close relationships with cross functional stakeholders, both internally and externally
- Financial acumen and experience with developing financial models is an asset
- Background in Public Accounting or Healthcare is an asset

**General Responsibilities**
- Maintain and implement accounting policies/procedures in accordance with US GAAP
- Prepare monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations to record GL transactional activity to maintain complete and accurate accounting records
- Perform standard cost roll and inventory revaluation, working with intercompany, purchasing, supply chain and operations to ensure accuracy of cost components
- Support costing requirements as related to the annual budget, three-years strategic plan and quarterly forecasts
- Review cost variance trends, investigating significant fluxes and recommend appropriate response
- Support cost accounting issues and implement policies related to cost accounting standards
- Perform variance analysis of actual financial results versus budget, forecast and key performance metrics
- Develop and streamline analysis models
- Support in coordination of month-end and year-end reporting requirements to ensure timely and detailed reporting of financial packages and specific close procedures.
- Analyze balance sheet and P&L activity for reasonability to support reported amounts to management and/or auditors.
- Review existing accounting policies, activities, processes, and systems and make recommendations to Management on any necessary changes.
- Ad hoc projects, analyses, and other duties as assigned

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- CPA Designation
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong financial analytical capabilities
- Excellent time management skills around managing competing priorities and meeting deadline requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Commerce is an asset
- 3+ years experience in a similar role is an asset
- Knowledge and experience with SAP/JDE ERP system and/or BPC is an asset, but not requirement
