Seasonal, Summer Camp Program
Full-time hours between June 23 - August 29 2025 (Various weeks)
Compensation Starts at $16.20/Hr

Before Camp Care: Monday to Friday 7:30am - 9:00am (up to 10 hours per week)

After Camp Care: Monday to Friday 3:30pm - 6:00pm (up to 15 hours per week)

The Before & After Care Program Staff assist with the implementation of the Before & After Camp Care Program. Under the supervision of the Before & After Care Program Director, the team is responsible for facilitating a high-quality program, running various activities specific to the age groups, while ensuring the safety and well-being of the campers.

WHAT IS AMAZING ABOUT THIS JOB:

- Assist with supervision of campers enrolled in Before & After Camp Care
- Engage campers in fun, recreational and variety of age-specific activities
- Supervise children at all times, ensuring a safe environment
- To maintain a positive and consistent approach towards child management, compatible with the philosophy of Appleby Camps
- Maintain positive relations with campers, parents and the Appleby Community
- Assist in providing a healthy snack to all campers accommodating all dietary restrictions
- Respond to the individual needs of campers and establish stable and consistent relationships with each child and their families/caregivers
- Ensure safe drop-off/pick-up of campers
- Ensure that the health and safety needs of the children are met and all health and safety issues are dealt with immediately and appropriately
- Assist in cleaning and tidying of the facility and be responsible for the safe storage of equipment, maintaining that all equipment is in good working order prior to usage

YOU WILL BE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:

- Secondary school education or minimum completion of Grade 11
- Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
- Team oriented, motivational and creative
- Energetic and enthusiastic

- Training & Pre-Camp
- Friday May 30, 2025-Evening
- Saturday May 31 and Sun June 1, 2025-Full Day
- Saturday June 14, 2025-Full Day
- Sunday June 15, 2025- Full Day
- Camp Session Dates & Hours
- Camp Work: as assigned Monday June 23 to Friday Aug 29 (excluding June 30 and holidays)
- Dates Subject to Change
